What we collect, and why
We only collect details that you type into a form on this website. We ask for as little as we can.
Admission enquiry form
MBA applicants are graduates, so the applicant fills in this form herself. We ask for:
- your name and phone number
- your email address, if you want a reply by email
- your degree and the entrance test you have taken or plan to take
- a message, if you want to add one
We use these details only to reply to you about admission.
Grievance form
This form is for students and staff of the institute. We collect only what we need to look into a grievance, such as your name, your year or role, and what you want to tell us. [TODO: final list of fields.]
Your consent
Every form has a tick box. By ticking it, you agree to us using your details as described here, as required by India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Where your details are kept
Form entries are stored in a Google Sheet that only authorised staff can open. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also checks that a real person, not a bot, is sending each form.
We keep enquiry details for [TODO: how long, e.g. until the end of that year's admissions], and grievance records for [TODO: how long]. After that we delete them.
Who we share them with
We do not sell your details or share them with anyone for advertising. Staff see them only when they need to, for example to call you back or to look into a grievance. We would share them with authorities only if the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or Google Analytics. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what details we hold about you
- correct details that are wrong
- delete your details
- stop using your details, by withdrawing your consent
